Dorset couldn’t resist paying a visit to Mallams on the harbourside in Weymouth
when we heard Steve and Janice had launched their new menu.

Steve
trained for a career in the catering industry at what is now Brookes University
in Oxford – he completed his training in Switzerland before returning to
England. Janice started out in retail
management but for a long time now now their passion is food and they say they never
lose interest in it or stop learning about it.

We loved...
Main course - Rack of English lamb served with a potato and red onion
rösti, a purée of butterbean, garlic and rosemary with a port and redcurrant
sauce.
Sweet - Bakewell Tart flavoured crème brulée.
A special
new addition not to missed on the wine list is a wine from Dorchester Wine Vineyard!
