Two bright happy exhibitions by Claire Streather at The Engine Room in Poundbury in Dorchester.
Claire is a Dorset based artist whose influences range from her childhood, the changing seasons, nature, paint, photography, film and digital, textiles, colour, layers, surface pattern, light, the modern world, graphics and advertising.

A full week of fun food events across Bridport.
Dorchester Carnival

Between 9am to 3pm stalls will line the street with lots of fun and refreshments for all along with live music all day on the South Street Stage. They're also still looking for teams for the four legged pub race - just £15 per team with a free half pint in every pub!

7th & 8th July
5th annual festival that see's Waterfront Weymouth come alive. Events include more than 100 stalls, interactive demonstrations from a line up of chefs, expert wine matching and champagne pouring demonstrations. Also in the entertaining mix are: The Dorset Young Seafood MasterChef of the Year Competition, filleting demonstrations, fresh fish auctions, and book signings by famous chef authors.

Small and medium theatre companies bringing diverse and innovative work celebrating culture and sport - showing the way for new performers.
Music and Merriment Festival
17/18th August
A celebration of local musical talent, community involvement and spirit. Includes a number of stages for live music, a kids club, exhibitors, balloon display, and plenty of fun and games!
Just £15 for adults, £7.50 for children or £40 for a family. £3 extra for camping!
Takes place in Spetisbury Rings in Spetisbury Village.
